Full Skim Coat and Make-Good in Yishun

Every wall in the flat skimmed flat after a rewire, so the repaint went on without a single patch outline showing.

The flat had been rewired and had two built-ins taken out, which left chased conduit runs and a set of filled scars down almost every wall. The owner had been quoted for patching and a repaint; we quoted the skim instead, because patch-and-repaint on a wall in that state is a job you pay for twice.

Loose material was raked out, chases were filled and left to go off properly, and corner beads were set true before any skim went on. Walls and ceilings then took a full skim coat rather than spot filling.

The surfaces were checked under raking light before handover — it is the only way to see a wave in a wall that daylight will find later.
