Sliding Door Repair in Hougang

A balcony door that took two hands to move, fixed at the rollers rather than replaced.

Sliding glass door running on its track in a modern space

The client had been quoted for a new sliding door. The door was fine; the rollers under it were not.

Both roller carriages had collapsed on one side, which drags the leaf on the track and, in time, deforms the track as well. We lifted the leaf out, replaced the carriages, cleaned and straightened the run, and set the height so the leaf sits square in the frame.

The lock had been forced against the misalignment for long enough to bend the keep, so that was replaced too, and the handle reset to it.

It closes with one finger now. A new door would have cost several times the repair.
